American Depositary Share - ADS

 A share issued under deposit agreement that represents an underlying security in the issuer's home country

The terms American depositary receipt (ADR) and American depositary share (ADS) are often thought to mean the same thing. However, an ADS is the actual share trading, while an ADR represents a bundle of ADSs.
